Blue Roof Pre-school is a long established provision for pre-school children. It was originally formed as Checketts Playgroup in 1968. The group relocated to Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club in 1989. To build on the continued success of the pre-school Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club took ownership in 2001. This enabled the pre-school to benefit from the expertise of the charity. As a result the pre-school continues to thrive.
We have a support group of parents who help with fund-raising and social events. We welcome parents to play an active part in the group.
We are registered with OFSTED on the Early Years Register for the care and education of pre-school children from the age of 2 years.

Each term we organise at least one group outing, which includes parents / carers.
